Flashbacks

Bascially a flashback is when you don't take LSD for a while but you still feel the exact same effects that the drug has on you. A flashback occurs when you least expect it, such as at a party or a dinner with your parents. They can also happen a week, a month or even a year after LSD is taken. It is often heard that LSD never leaves your body. This is sometimes reffered to as the "lingering molecule." Luckily flashbacks are rare.

Usually when a LSD user has a flashback, three types of effects appear. Perpetual distortions, heightened imagery and unbidden images. The prevalance of LSD flashbacks range from 15% to 77%.

One of the worst times to experience a flashback is when driving.
